Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.
Life has a way of shifting under our feet. Even changes we choose can stir up feelings we didn’t expect. Old patterns surface, new questions appear, and our inner world gets a little louder. And when that happens, it can help to have a steady place to sort through it. Therapy can be that space.
Meet Alyn Fischer
Hi, I'm Alyn (uh-lynn). My pronouns are she/her and they/them. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate serving folks in person in Ballard and across Washington by telehealth. I care about creating a space where you don't have to edit yourself to be taken seriously or treated with care.
When Life Shifts…
Therapy can offer a steady place to sort through what’s happening, especially during moments of transition. Many people who land here have worked with therapists before and left feeling like parts of themselves were overlooked. Finding someone who understands the quieter layers of identity and experience can make a real difference.
My approach is warm, relational, and shaped in real time by the person sitting with me. I pay attention to the ways you naturally think, feel, and move through the world, including the parts that have sometimes made you feel different or outside the usual mold. Those details matter. They help us build a space where you as a whole can show up, not just the polished version of yourself.
Working together often feels like an ongoing conversation where curiosity is welcome and the parts of you that have felt unwanted are given a safe place to land. I bring professional training and lived experiences, while you bring wisdom about your life. Together, we figure out what feels supportive and what helps you move forward with more ease.
